Spin-off: Expensive bags

I have a LV speedy that I rarely use.

I don't have the box or anything that came with it anymore. I think DH got it for me back in 2006.

Could I still sell this and get decent $$$ for it even w/o the stuff to "prove" it's original?

I don't buy expensive bags so I don't know the "rules", if you need that stuff to sell it.

Also where do you go to sell this stuff?

I don't use Ebay really.

I sold my speedy on eBay. *I* knew it was real b/c I bought it, and so I wasn't concerned about having to have it authenticated. IT sold very quickly. People will pay good money for these bags if they're in good shape. They do have eBay forums where you can have your bags "authenticated" which I have done when ppl have given me bags on consignment to sell. But, if its yours, and you know its real, youre fine. Just take close up photos of important areas like seams, the lock, the zipper, etc. Also I think theres something under the inner pocket "flap" that you have to show, etc.

There's a consignment store in RVC and Huntington that will sell for you, my sil has sold a few high end things in the RVC
