My best friend is that hardest person to buy something and I was thinking a subscription to one of this monthly boxes would be great.. Which one you recommend and what are the prices?

I would do Birchbox. I got that for my SIL and she really loved it. I did the ipsy for myself and hate it. They send you the same junk in neon colors or a sample mascara every month. I cancelled and have been looking at the bags every month since then and am still so glad I cancelled.

Personally, I love my ipsy bags! This is my third month getting them and it's been fantastic. I haven't had any repeats or neon colors. I originally went with ipsy because a friend complained that birchbox often gave sample sizes while ipsy gives a lot more full sized products.

I love ipsy! Sure I've gotten a bunch of mascaras that I won't use but I've gotten some really great products and I love the sizes of a lot of the products.

Reading some of the other responses, I just wanted to add a follow up to my original comment:

The sizes are much better, I do agree with that. I think it's hit or miss with ipsy because there were some months that other girls got GREAT products but mine were awful (for instance, I have oily skin and they gave me a moisturizing mask. When I complained, they said too bad. What's the point of filling out a questionnaire if they completely disregard it).
