Thanksgiving menu! Post yours
It's that time again! This is my holiday to cook so I get excited around this time planning my menu lol. I stick with the usual but try to incorporate at least one or 2 new/different things each year. Here's what I'm thinking so far:
-Roasted turkey with Zorn's seasoning blend
-Homemade gravy
-Fresh cranberry sauce
-Pioneer Woman's mashed potatoes
-Either roasted sweet potatoes with butter & brown sugar OR sweet potato casserole with marshmallows
-Sausage stuffing AND plain stuffing
-Roasted brussel sprouts with garlic
-Peas with onions OR roasted cauliflower/broccoli
-cornbread (the only thing I'm not making homemade)
Dessert:
Homemade chocolate cream pie with fresh whipped cream
Pumpkin pie bread (I'll also make mini loaves for my guest to bring home)
Guests will bring other desserts

sounds sooooo delicious. and my vote is for the sweet potatoes w/marshmallows and the cauliflower/broccoli sides!!
i'm not hosting this year, i wish i was.
thanksgiving cooking and menu making is my absolute fave!!!!!

im not hosting but DH and i will be bringing fresh cranberry sauce, green bean casserole and some sort of dessert...just not sure what yet
