For newborn- Moby.
Once he got older, I love the beco! He's one and still likes it.

I love my ergo. It comes with a newborn insert for when they are little.

Bjorn isn't good for baby's hips, nor is it comfy for the wearer.
Newborn- Moby, k'tan, or ring sling. For a soft structured carrier- either ergo, Beco, or Boba.

Based on this lady's rec's I bought a Moby and I registered for the Ergo & Infant insert.

Re: Please reccommend your baby carrier
definitely the ergo! Its very comfortable to use, you can wear the baby in front (facing you) or on your back... AND it goes up to 40 pounds. Our son is 3, and we still once in a blue moon will put him in there on our backs for long hikes and stuff. so you definitely get your money's worth out of it!

I liked the Boba a lot for when my dd was a newborn. Once she got a little bigger, we started using the ergo. She loves the ergo a lot now and it is super comfortable for me to wear, even for long periods of time.

I love my ergo! I have a ring sling too but I find that once DD was old enough to fit in ergo without the infant insert, I gravitate toward that all the time.

This. From the time DD was 6 days old she was in the ergo baby with the infant insert. I had to buy the insert separately. DD is going to be 3 months this week and she is still in the infant insert. It is easy to use and I feel very safe with her in it. The Ergo is similar to the Bjorn so depending on why you don't like the Bjorn you might not want the Ergo either.

I have a Moby and a Beco. Never really got into the Moby but I love the Beco. It's the only way I can take older DD and DS shopping or to the park together comfortably.

I beg to differ. He bjorn feels much different than the ergo. Ergo's seat and straps are very different and much more comfortable for wearer and baby.

Yeah, the two are very different. I didn't like the bjorn and would be in pain after a little while when DD was just 3-4 months old. I wish I'd gotten the ergo sooner bc I can still carry my 18 month old in it very comfortably. It's also much better for the baby because it is much more supportive for them.

ergo or Boba. They are very similar. I believe the Ergo lets you side carry and the boba is only front or back carry. I have the Boba and love it. Still carry my 15 month old in it all the time.

Love the becco gemini (used moby as well for infant but not for older baby) Have used it from 1 week old and still at 18months. Can use it front (facing in or out), side and back carry and it doesn't need a newborn insert, can use it from day 1!
