My college boyfriend. His wife cheated on him with her masseuse. She was a kindergarden teacher in a catholic school. My ex posted mean stuff about her and jokes all day long. He was eventually asked to leave his beloved church that they both attended because of all the drama and negativity he was bringing to the church. I felt so bad for him even though he should not have made all his business public.
He since has moved on and is engaged again thankfully.

The worst was this:

It was a long time ago, so I don't remember the specific picture. Person A posted the picture. It was a pro-choice picture.

Person B then commented and disagreed with the picture and stated that he is pro-life.

Then Person C came on.
And-again-this was a long time ago, so I'm not quoting word for word. However, this was very close to the exact wording and definitely the exact same concept, and it was said to Person B.

"As your wife, I'm appalled that you would say you're against abortion. You-and now everyone on Facebook-knows that I had one."

i don't really have too much drama of my own bc i don't post too much personal info that would be considered scandalous but...My moms step sister is at least 10-15 years younger than my mom and she posted on her FB how these "old b*tches need to get up out the club because it's not cute" knowing that my mom at 51 LOVES TO GO OUT dancing and loves house music. So I commented and basically said "life is too short to be hating on people who are living their lives. If what they are doing makes them happy then good on them" and she continued to say how stupid it was and call my mom stupid. I told her she was being disrespectful and that I was disappointed and she deleted the entire family.

There's been a ton of drama after that since my grandfather died...she called my mother 2 days after he died to tell her, had him cremated without giving anyone the chance to say their goodbyes etc. So there were a few indirect posts I put up about how f*cking EVIL some people can be. but I don't really post all the details, just needed a little outlet

ETA: I do however have a friend that posts all about how his ex cheated on him and that she said the child may not be his and that she hid her new marriage from him and is trying to take his child away and how people are saying he's an unfit father and posting a play by play of their ugly custody battle all over FB. I warned him to stop posting stuff bc it could be used against him...but he only got upset with me and said I'm taking her side...oh well.

Nothing personal with me as I try to put anything to personal on facebook but on one of my facebook groups, a member let out a whopper.

My adoption group, about 20 families that traveled together to China all try to stay connected so our daughters will have some connection as they older in life. It is a VERY Christian based group and agency we went through. I was one of the only ones that didn't go to church weekly or was not part of a Christian outreach program. Well one of the members said she had a big announcement for all of us and we waited and waited and then announced that she in an open marriage and that she has a girl and a boy lover that she and her husband share. Also that she was quitting her job and becoming a burlesque dancer. I personally could care less what she wants to do with her personal life but let me tell you, I think she gave a bunch of the other families heart attacks lol.

I had a friend and someone hacked her DH Facebook page and posted that he had passed away that morning and that info on services would follow, etc.

His whole family was posting in shock and old friends were leaving kind words on his FB page, etc.

it was INSANE!

Nothing ever involving me directly, but I was FB friends with a girl from high school. I was never even friends with her, but felt bad denying the request. I got so sick of hearing her constantly ******** and moaning about her husband. I wound up defriending her because I was getting way too close to telling her to just get a divorce already. She tried friending me again, I declined.

I see more of the pointless bragging and huge exaggerations than I do other drama. I also see a ton of competitive BS, like, "I just got a 10 carat ring," and someone responds, "Oh I am so happy for you. Mine is 15 and it's so heavy to carry around."

People, if you have to use the word expensive, then it is too expensive FOR YOU. I don't need to you tell me you are spending a lot on things you've given itemized lists for. If I want to add up costs in my mind, I will.

I actually just remembered one.

I have a couple of relatives who are a bit nuts. One of them is somewhat delusional at times and thinks he was part of 9/11 (he's a volunteer fireman hours and hours away, you know the type).

Anyways, this was a few years ago, on 9/11 I posted on my status that I was going to yoga because being bombarded with the media was making me depressed.

He and my aunt basically tore me a new asshole saying I was being completely inappropriate and that "as an American" it was "my job" to pay my respects to all the fireman who died by sitting inside and watching the news all day. They kept it going only about "the firemen"........

FWIW, I was living/working in the city on 9/11 and very much affected, and obviously dedicated my yoga practice that day to those directly affected. I think he was in high school at the time 9/11 happened, living Upstate.

Basically all my friends on FB started coming out of the woodwork asking who was this nut posting? One of my IL's said "Look, you've become the top news on my feed with this drama". Even a couple of people who were first responders who are on my page responded.


It got really ugly and went on for weeks via private messages. I had to block them for awhile till the whole thing blew over.


I don't think things have been the same with those two since.

What's interesting too is my aunt swears she's never on FB but if me, DH, my sister or even my ILs post a pic or status---even in the middle of the night---she is always the first person to comment within SECONDS.

A friend of a friend had posted his personal pics with his girlfriend, only to revenge, as they had break up few days back.

I don't usually see too much drama on FB - I've hidden a lot of people but, it's pretty calm.
