Uppa Baby Vista
Hi ladies, When I first started looking for a stroller, I couldn't believe that the Uppa Baby was $729 and thought to myself that I would never spend that kind of money.. but I just keep coming back to it over and over again.
I was going to go with other strollers like the citi-mini or the britax b-agile which are much less money but there are certain things I don't like (foot rest not coming up/not being able to turn the baby to face me - I live in the city so this is of particular importance to me).
Then I thought about the Britax B Ready - but again with living in the city I just feel it's too big and bulky for right now (might be better if I have a second)
There are so many features that I love about the Uppa - the size/basket/awning piece (new mom sorry if it's not called that) - I love pushing it and just feel so comfortable with it.
For those of you who have an Uppa Baby, is it worth it? Is there anything comparable that I'm overlooking?
TIA!

Uppa Baby Vista
We bought our vista 3 years ago when it was $600 and ended up paying $300 for it after using our 10% completion discount and some gift cards. It was the best investment we ever made. It's still in great condition! We live in NYC and don't own a car, so it really functions like our car. We take it everywhere and it has loads of basket space. Love it.

When we started looking at strollers, we decided that if we were going to spend $500+, it would NEED to be worth the investment and have the features we wanted, which was a removable toddler seat, larger rubber tires and capability for a second child. Our friends who have the Vista hate it, but we still figured we would look at it. It was way too heavy and hard to open for me, and the practicality of it for a second child was not ideal. When we went to Buy Buy Baby we compared it to the City Select and we were SOLD. I dreamed about that stroller LOL Huge basket, removable toddler seat, additional toddler seat configurations including infant carrier and glider board, absurdly light and easy to open and close. I absolutely love my City Select and for the price, it was a no brainer compared to the Vista. DH loves using it, and I refused to buy one stroller now and need something else later.
ETA: My cousin purchased the Uppa Baby Cruz, which is similar to the Vista...maybe check that one out.

i was going to mention the same thing about using the uppa baby vista for 2 kids. i was told by 2 separate families that it is not good 2 children. one family even went and got the city select and gave their uppa baby vista to a friend they disliked it so much. i got a city mini without thought of having a second...and here i am pregnant with #2. so now i need to buy another stroller. after all the recommendations, it seems the city select is the way to go. it is great for one and easily can convert to 2.

If you plan on having a second you can't add a second seat and will have to get another stroller. The britax bready can add a second seat and it's more spread out than the vista. That is what decided it for us between the two.

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
If you live in the city it is 100% worth it. It was our primary vehicle and it pushes so smoothly, basket is so large, we loved the bassinet and used it all the time since we didnt need to worry about carseats, DS even slept in the bassinet for the first 5 weeks. We dont use it as much now that DS is older and walking and we moved to the burbs, but when we do (for long trips like sesame, the zoo, the city, etc) we still love it. not sure it's worth it as much for someone in the burbs but for the city, worth every penny IMO

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
I love my Uppa Baby. Its great for everything. DD likes sitting up higher in it now that she is older. Its smooth and the basket is HUGE and so easy to get things in and out of. I think its a great investment. When I bring DD to the city we use the Uppa Baby vs City Mini because it holds more and she's up higher. We also use it for things like Sesame Place. It handles so well...while i was home on maternity leave I used it for daily walks.

Uppa Baby Vista
I too never thought I would spend that on a stroller. But I confess- I was in love with the UPPA BABY VISTA. All of my friends highly recommended it to me and when I went to try out strollers I was sold. Has anyone tried the car seat?
