Nice gift in $20 range for yankee exchange?
I want to buy something coveted and/or fun but am coming up blank with ideas. Everything I like costs more than $20 and I want to buy something more interesting than gloves or nail polish.
Can you recommend something fun in the $20 range?
DH will be taking liquor for his $20 gift.

I had to google what you meant be "Yankee Exchange"! Never heard that term before.

I went to one that was all woman. I actually went to homegoods and bought a serving platter that was separated in thirds and then an ecards calendar from the mall. The ones you rip off everyday. Everyone wanted it, I wanted to keep it for myself ??

 I had to google that...
We are bringing a pair of these:
(Redneck Wine Glasses)
With a small bottle of Wild Turkey or Johnny Walker.
That way, they at least get liquor - Right? The glasses are also pretty fun to craft with.
The glasses were $9 at our grocery store so I figure the rest will be on the alcohol.
I just so happen to have a decorated version of that glass as a gift for the Teacher.
ETA: i should mention that liquor is ALWAYS given and the gifts are always fun natured and stupid. The signing Tree hat has been a huge hit. LOL

I am in the same boat....We have a guy and mostly women. If it was just women, I would do a sparkly bracelet.

I ended up buying a glass serving platter with dip bowl and a cute fruit colander bowl. The gift boxes look very large for a $20 gift exchange.
Last yr, I attended a similar party and I bought a Starbucks mug with a $10 starbux gift card. My gift was not popular at all last year. Hope my gift does better this year.

ok...i'm confused...i looked up yankee exchange and i got the impression that it should be a "fun" gift. I do recall that once upon a time I went to an office party and we did this (although I do not think it was called this) and my Chia Head was a big hit  (sea monkeys was also "sought" after)

I think it depends on the crowd. I have a group of friends that does this and the sillier or more fun the gift the better but other groups not so much.
