Traveling with Lovenox?
Anyone have any experience traveling w/ Lovenox? Can you bring it as a carry-on or do I need to put it in my checked bags. we're going away next week so was hoping I can take it with me just in case the bags get lost. Do I need to bring anything? Going to try and call TSA today but figured I'd ask!
Also, figure for progesterone suppositories, those should be ok to just bring on?
Any other advice in being in the sun with a little peanut in the belly? My doctor said just to stay hydrated and not too much in the sun.

medications are exempt from the size restrictions so you should be fine having them in your carry on
with the progesterone, it has to stay refrigerated, correct? i would put it in a a cooler bag with an ice pack and maybe bring the prescription info saying it has to stay cold just in case they give you a hard time with the ice pack. i traveled with an ice pack and breast milk and they didnt question the ice pack - but the progesterone may throw them off

Traveling with Lovenox?
I had to fly with progesterone and the needles. Never had an issue. I had them in the ziploc they came in with my prescription but nobody said anything.

Traveling with Lovenox?
Oh and just saw the second part to your quest. You shouldn't stay directly in the sun for more than a hour, as in direct sun, no shade or umbrella. You are more susceptible to a sun burn and you also don't want to get over heated. Drinks lots of water.

I told them i had injectable medication and they said ok and that was it... no issue at all.

I took the prescription with me just to be n the safe side. I checked the bag, didn't have any carryon and all was fine.

Traveling with Lovenox?
My doctor wrote me a letter saying I was on injectables but I was never asked for it. We put the needles in a separate ziploc and took it out at security but honestly, it seemed like we were making a bigger deal than the security agents were!
