Desperately trying to find my son's big gift
If anyone is out and about and happens to know where I can pick up the robot dog called "Zoomer" please let me know : (. My little guy really wanted this toy and I'm afraid I put off finding this gift so long that it's sold out everywhere. TIA!

ebay has him for crazy expensive
BUT they have the Tekno Robotic Puppy if all else fails...he is basically the same thing.

Keep in mind, toys r us inventory check is not the best as I tried to order online and pick it up. It wouldn't let me saying out of stock and long behold, they are dozens of them in stock. I would call to find out. Prehaps have the part number ready when you call the store

keep Zoolert open on your computer with the alert (sound) on ... it's fantastic, updates every minute - I used it to get my DH a PS4 last week ...

this happened to me to; it said online that it was out of stock online and in store. I called the store directly and they had 6 in stock. I had them hold it and picked it up the next day.

Call each Toys R us.. late at night. They CAN check what is scheduled to come on the trucks and can tell you what date they "think" they might get it. The trucks are not definetly going to have everything they are scheduled to but, they most likely will. I had them check the list. One store told me they couldn't and Carle Place told me they absolutely could. I got a better response late at night when they were slower. Then you have to call the store at 8 am and race up there if they have it. THey won't hold it.
I was told by both Target and Toys R Us that the online inventory this time of year is very inaccurate. They said to call first and to keep calling EVERY day. It took perseverance but, I got Liam's HOT gift.

I heard that Toby is better than Zoomer. Zoomer didn't get great reviews. I would look for that too.
