Anyone had dc evaluated through cpse from sachem sd?

What was the process with them? They want me to bring ds to the central office before the evaluation to talk to him and myself. No one I've spoken to who went through the process with other school districts heard of this. It seems like standard procedure, but I'm curious. I don't want him to feel self conscious or anxious. Anyone with any insight?

I had my DD evaluated for PT through CPSE (Commack SD) and they told me to bring her when I came in to fill out the initial paper work. I thought that was a little strange, but it wasn't a big deal.
