1st AF after natural miscarriage......
I had a natural MC in November. Was expecting my 1st AF in December. It arrived but has been very light and on & off for almost 2 weeks. I was VERY sick for almost a week and a half so really didn't focus on that....but now starting to wonder if maybe something is up.
My Dr. was closed yesterday & I hadn't had any bleeding in 2 days so I didn't call today. But now it's back again
Before I call tomorrow....just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this?

What was your last beta? AF is a pain in the tush after a mc... And if you were sick, it likely screwed up your cycle even more. I would just have your doctor do repeat betas to make sure your levels get back down to zero.

My beta was not back to zero after the last 2 blood tests (1 week & 2 weeks after the start of the MC)...it was going down but Dr said we'd do another beta after my 1st AF ......
I will call tomorrow to get bloodwork ordered...just worried maybe there's something left behind & that's why it's screwy now

Not necessarily - mc's really mess with your cycle... But def call the doc.

It is my understanding that your beta has to go down to 0 before AF comes. My beta was down to 0 for my m/cs when I got AF. So so sorry for your loss

I've actually had the opposite from some of the other posters. I don't have regular periods at all. I've had 3 miscarriages and 4 chemicals and as soon as my beta is 0, I ovulate like clockwork and get my period 2 weeks later. Strangest thing.
