Farmingdale Child Care

I'm trying to decide between Miss Dawn's and The Children's Center at Farmingdale State. Does anyone have experience with either? I actually really liked both. I loved the fact that Farmingdale was so new but I liked that Miss Dawn's seem so warm and cozy. Thoughts?

I looked at the Center at Farmingdale when I was PG with DS. THey were still in the trailers back then. I didn't love the actual facility but loved their program. I'm sure the new place is nice.

I ended up putting DS in Kiddie Academy in Farmingdale. They opened right after DS was born and he was actually the first infant to ever go there. I love it there.

When I picked a place I really just went with my gut. For me KA was the only place that felt like home when we visited. THat said a lot to me.

Does either place just feel right to you??? if so I would go with it. You can alway pull them out if you decide its not right.

Re: Farmingdale Child Care

Farmingdale State wasn't being used yet when I went there but I loved how big it is and how professional it looked. The outside, although not done, looked like it will be really nice. They just seemed like there was a lot of attention to detail.

Miss.Dawn was so nice and friendly (and about 100 bucks cheaper a month). I just wasn't a huge fan of the location. The traffic stinks over there (Huntington on Jericho trpk) and there isn't an opening at her closer location. I work on the south side of the LIE in Melville.

Did you check out prim time and KA. Both are right off 110 in farmingdale.

I feel like if you have any doubts then it's not the right place.

Re: Farmingdale Child Care

I called Prime Time but they didn't have openings.

I actually didn't have any doubts about them. Just so undecided.
