Because of YOUR help, my wonderful fans, in June, 2013 YOU contributed to the NYS Puppy Mill Bill passing.
NOW, Gov. Cuomo won't sign it. I suspect BIG POLITICS of PIJAC and AKC lobbying to veto OUR work to save lives!!
There are only 2 weeks for Gov. Cuomo to get this Bill--the only way it will happen is YOUR CALLS!!
NEW YORK ANIMAL ADVOCATES READ, SHARE & TAKE ACTION:
TOO LONG suffering dogs are in our state’s substandard breeding facilities and pet stores, BUT it's one signature away from a major victory. We urgently need your help to get A.740-A/S.3753-A, the pet dealer bill, signed by Governor Cuomo to give local governments the ability to crack down on unscrupulous dog breeders and pet stores.
New York is the only state with a law prohibiting its cities and counties from regulating pet dealers. This inability of local governments to exercise their home rule authority has had terrible consequences for dogs in substandard breeding facilities and pet stores—dogs without adequate protections under state and federal laws.
The pet industry profits from this lack of local regulation and is desperately trying to prevent this landmark animal protection legislation from being signed into law.
It is more critical than ever that you call Governor Cuomo at (518) 474-8390 (hit # 3) politely urging him to sign the pet dealer bill into law

Only a few more days ( I believe!!) to do this!!
It is literally a 2 second phone call!! Just ask him to sign the pet dealer bill and leave your zip code!! That's it!!!

im having strange de ja vu.. i swore i saw on CNN that he signed this.. maybe I was dreaming. Hadn't even seen this thread. Then I log in this morning and think "Didn't he already sign that" but I can't find the CNN story..
Hope it gets passed

im having strange de ja vu.. i swore i saw on CNN that he signed this.. maybe I was dreaming. Hadn't even seen this thread. Then I log in this morning and think "Didn't he already sign that" but I can't find the CNN story..
Hope it gets passed
The bill is created! He now has to sign it into law! 5 days left to make this happen-no matter what state you live in, you can call!

I did call.. cause hey... my number is STILL 646  and hubby's is 917 
never gonna give them up!
And TECHNICALLY we still own property in Nassau
