Those who go to Eisenberg Peds in Sayville... come in
Dr Patel is leaving 
Her last week is next week.
We love her so much!! She was telling my DH last week that she is sad to go and that she had so many memories of our family (esp with how sick DS1 was as a newborn).
We are so torn about whether or not to follow her (she said she's going to another practice in Patchogue).

I am surprised that she is leaving...I wonder why she us going somewhere else. We just saw her last week! I have had issues with the way the were running the practice, but the past few months they seen too have improved.

Can you PM me if you find out exactly where she is going? I LOVE her and I feel like for the last year we never got to see her...we started with her when Dd was a newborn, and then got switched to Dr. E, who I really like too. But I'm due w/ DC 2 and Patchogue would be more convenient than Sayville. But I wonder if she's starting her own practice or joining a different practice...I'd like to see how the practice was run before switching.
I feel like my wait times have increases over the past 2 years w/ Dr. E...especially once we were put in the exam room.

Did she say why she was switching to another practice? I actually prefer Dr. Eisenberg, but I hope this doesn't mean the wait times are going to be even longer since they will be down one doctor.

I wonder why she is leaving. I hope someone else is coming in. I really liked that there was a female doctor there for when DD gets a bit older.
I only had an issue with wait time once, hope that doesn't become the norm. We only recently switched to this practice, I really don't want to have to switch again.

I actually just said something to Dr. E about this! I have been considering leaving the practice. I waited a full hour in the exam room last time I was there & then Dr. E rushed me out the door.
It sucks that Dr. Patel is leaving, my older DD is not a fan of her & loves Dr. Verizonberg as she calls him, but my younger one LOVES Dr. Patel & isn't a fan of Dr. E.

Yeah, my DD just stopped screaming bloody murder at the sight of Dr E. I like that he's always been patient with her screaming, but I personally don't always like him. Although I think he is an excellent Dr and very thorough. I felt I related much better to Dr Patel, and DD never cries for her. I'd probably switch if I can find out where she is going and get info on the practice.

She did not say why she was leaving but I did ask her if she was starting her own practice and she said no.
I've never waited too long in the waiting room or exam room. In fact, my DS had pneumonia last month and they rushed him in without an appt, all hands on deck. They've been so great to us. We will just miss Dr. Patel so much!

I was taking my kids to Dr. Eisenberg where I met Dr Patel and loved her. I was very disappointed to see her leave but I found her in Patchouge with Dr. Vani and Huml. The address is 285 Sills road, building 9, Patchogue.

used to go to huml and vani....HATED that place! doctors/nurses NEVER call back, hard to make an appt bc no one answers the phone, stuck in the stoneage as far as equipment, dr huml makes you feel like an idiot anytime you ask a question and barely spends any time with you, he is practically running out of the room while you are still asking questions....stick with eisenberg peds!!

Thanks! Do you plan to switch? If so, let me know how it is! I love Dr Patel and have been not loving Eisenberg's office as much recently bc they've been making me wait in the room forever!
