Just me venting...anyone else???
Maybe it's my PMS talking...I am due any day now...but...I just had to walk away before I cried my eyes out...
I was just sitting there listening to some parents complain about being a parent..."I'm sick of going to school events" "I'm sick of going to concerts" "Selling girl scout cookies is such a pain in the ass" "I hate doing homework with my kids" "My son/daughter was so annoying this morning"....etc etc etc etc
I WOULD GIVE MY LIFE TO BE ABLE TO DO ANY OF THAT!!!!!!!
(I know it's all relative. I'm not hating...just venting)

I have a daughter and I'm struggling to conceive #2 so I can relate to the parents you hear talking. I'd give anything to have another child, but some days your kids really wear you down. I know first hand how difficult this journey is, but you don't know what those parents have gone through that day. I'm just saying that there's always another side that you don't see.
Here's hoping that you all get a chance to complain about your children one day. It will happen!

Yep, that's why I ended by saying it's all relative. What I meant by that, is that I realize that people have different opinions or viewpoints with regard to a topic or subject or whatever situation they may be in.
I don't even know if that made sense LOL

You can have bad days as a Mom and still try and make the best of them. I have had a mixture of amazing and hellish moments with my 7 year old. When I look back, I laugh at the bad ones and cherish the good ones. Being a Mom is having that mixture of the good and the bad. I agree, it can be hard but I can never jump into those conversations of kid bashing that I hear a lot in elementary schools. I hear all of these complaints about extending yourself in school activites and I get it-- it's a lot. But I always chime in that a child is not a child forever. It goes by too damn fast and in a blink of an eye, you will wish you were still driving to swim meets and hockey games.
Goldie, you will see a very opinionated world out there when you become a Mom. Some positive and lots negative. Going through IF, I truly believe we see things a little differently. I am not saying we will be better than any Mom out there but I just think we won't sweat the small things as much
