GHI/caremark
my husband works for the NYPD and has GHI as our insurance and caremark is the prescription coverage. Does anyone else have this? I have been paying out of pocket for the medications and I am wondering if anyone knows if they cover at all?

My ins just switched over from Accredo to cvs Caremark. So far I've been covered minus co-pay.

They have been really good so far. I hated Accredo so anything is a welcome change but Caremark seems to be on the ball. Good luck!

Re: GHI/caremark
We are NYPD and the Caremark covers pretty much all of the fert meds. I only had to pay out of pocket for Femara I believe.

Re: GHI/caremark
oh thank you! I paid for the clomid out of pocket and the ovidrel last cycle but that was because I was unaware of what our prescription coverage was. I am waiting to hear back from the pharmacy that is delivering my ovidrel this cycle to see if they covered it :)

I also had caremark/GHI. I worked for USPS. Caremark is mail order though so make sure you order in advance

Re: GHI/caremark
Hi, I have GHI/Caremark RX.... sorry to say but Caremark will only really cover crinone if you need it, that was the only thing Caremark ever covered for me (with a $5 co pay). Everything else was not covered, not even clomid! I later discovered that I could get Clomid for $9 at Target Pharmacy though (I was previously paying like $20 more at CVS OOP).
ETA For HCG I went through GHI but be aware that they only cover 3 prescriptions lifetime so order the max refill... I was not aware of this and after I filled HCG 3x I was done, had to go OOP.

I had GHI/caremark thru USPS. I did 5 FRESH IVF's & had all injectable meds covered on all of them. Maybe depends on company

Re: GHI/caremark
I just spoke with the pharmacy and they covered the ovidrel in full but I think you are right and they only cover 3x... That's what the girl on the phone said too.
