Crock Pot Steel Cut Oats Recipe?

Does anyone make steel cut oats in the crockpot overnight? I searched on Pinterest and there are a million recipes but I want something easy and good.

I did once. I tried the apple one.

It made so much though and I ended up throwing a lot of it out as a result.

I would probably half the recipe unless you really, really like oatmeal.

1 cup of steel cut oats
2 cups water
1 cup milk (i use almond milk- it makes it creamier)
sweetener (i use honey or date paste)
vanilla
cinnamon
i also put chia seeds, raisins or add fresh fruit at the end

cook it on high for about 3 hours or low for 4. watch it closely because it can burn.
