Home inspector in Nassau
Hi everyone, I'm asking for your highly recommended home inspection person or company. On our first house we were newbies and didn't realize just how bad our home inspection was. The guy showed up with literally a flashlight and notepad with pen. He didn't want to go on the roof because there wasn't "easy access". We had to supply the ladder and beg him to go up there! Also he didn't catch that there is a major flooding issue in the basement, which is one of the major reasons why we are now selling our house!!
We really need someone who is thorough and honest. Also someone who is equipped with all the gadgets, moisture detectors for walls, etc.
If you used someone who you felt very comfortable with, please recommend! Thanks so much.
Our realtor has recommended the following but I will not go with someone blindly...if you have used the following and can vouch for them let me know.
Robert Leone from National Property Inspections
Gary Maksym from A. Maximum home inspection Inc.
Jason W. Hicks from WIN home inspection

They were a little pricier than most, but we went with this company for our home inspection because they use engineers, not just inspectors.

Couldn't agree more. Tony was FANTASTIC. He was very thorough, and was at our house for over 2 hours. He was reasonably priced (I believe around $400) and he is licensed to also do the full termite inspection, which not all inspectors are. That alone with save you some money!

if the realtor would use him…..the says it all to me

this!!! we used Tony and he was great!!!!
He was great. Very thorough and even put up with my crazy father's million questions.
