Re: DOGGIE IQ
Loki is smart in a devious way. He always figures out how to get exactly what he wants, plus he is the originator of the trend in my house where the dogs find a loose thread & unravel whatever toy, couch etc.
Pyxie is smart in a street smart kind of way. She knows how to push the limit but not get in trouble.

sidenote: i got so offended once, some guy was in my bar saying how ALL "purebreds" are .... STUPID! wth?! im sorry, i mean i love mutts and all, but not for nothing, if you didnt have purebreds you wouldnt have mutts! what an idiot! why do you think dogs are bred?! for certain reasons. many purebreds have actual JOBS for gosh sake

Re: DOGGIE IQ
Brookie is too smart for his own good. He can be sleeping on the couch and wakes himself up to go pee in the box...then right back to sleep of course. He also knows the exact minute his Papa comes home..if Papa is late he sits at the window totally po'd. When he is hungry he walks over to his dish and sends it flying accross the kitchen...he has written several letters to the mgmt about the poor food service.
When we first brought him home he was so cute and not so smart...*sniff* my boy is growing up!!!

OMG that is too funny
Loki flips the bowl when he is hungry. When he was small, we used to have a smaller dish for him that he actually used to carry around like snoopy

Re: DOGGIE IQ
Nope. My dog is not the brightest. He's a blonde
He understands the concept that he is a golden retriever but he likes to retrieve things at the wrong time. Like my husbands boxers when he's wearing them, the blankets on our bed when we're sleeping and my clothes for work when I put them on the bed.
Some days I think he suffers from an identity crisis. He still thinks he's a chihuaha (sp), some days he thought he was a boxer and after spending 3 days at a friends home who has 2 poodles when we were in NY he came back thinking he was a poodle.
He likes to play catch - but - he'll run down the hallway or in the yard then you have to throw the ball. He'll catch it bring it to you then run deep
We're watching a tv show and someone rang a doorbell on the TV, Sim runs to our front door and barks at it.
But we love him!! He is just so cute
