Who did your dd's hair for communion

Looking for recommendations for someone who is local to do my dd's hair for her communion in May. We live in wantagh so anything that close to us would be great.

Just curious to know what other moms did for their daughters. Did you take her to a salon or did you have a girl come to the house.

Thanks in advance

I did my DDs hair. She had to be at the church at 8:30am. I set it in hot rollers and she wore it half up/half down with a white flower with a jeweled center in the back. (her dress had a similar flower at the waist) It looked beautiful. Most of the girls in my church did not wear veils or tiaras.

we went to a salon. She picked a style on line and we brought a picture in. She did have a veil and there was no way I was dealing with that. FYI - If I had it to do over again, I would get the tiara (if you are using one) separate from the veil. I would get a comb veil that goes under. The connected tiara and veil was a pain and hid most of her hair style.

Thanks for both of your suggestions. I've been thinking about the separate veil/ tiara as well. I think it would be more convenient if she wanted to take the veil off later in the day. I'm def. going to look into that. I called a salon that I occasionally get my hair done at and they can do it the morning of for me. It's $65. Not sure if that's reasonable though.

Thanks again

65.00 is about what we paid too. Her hair came out really nice, it was worth the money and less stress on us that morning.
