Day 21 progesterone level on medicated cycles?
For those of you with medicated cycles - and if you took prometrium after ovulation.....will a day 21 progesterone check really confirm ovulation if you are on meds and then progesterone? wouldn't they make you levels elevated anyway? my dr wants to check to see that my levels are high enough but im wondering how they can tell? if you are supplementing anyhow? thanks!

They want to check that your progesterone is high enough to support a potential pregnancy. If you're on a medicated cycle, I assumed you triggered? If so, they don't have to confirm ovulation since the trigger does that.

Exactly, if you used the trigger shot then you ovulated.
My doctor likes to see your P4 level above a 15 on a medicated, progesterone supported cycle. Not sure about the e2 numbers, but my issues were always the p4 levels being very low.

I did use the trigger but last month I had a chemical - and he thinks it could be progesterone related -so even though im on prometrium - I guess if its low I could get an increased dose but what im wondering is what should my progesterone level be after ovulation in on prometreium....does anyone know? thanks!

anything over 15 while on progesterone supplements is considered sustainable for a pregnancy according to my RE
eta: I went for my CD21 testing yesterday and got the call that mine was an 18 and the nurse said it was perfect (even though I think it's still on the low side)

oh thanks! so you got this number - while taking a supplement - that helps me to understand it better thanks again - I didn't get my prog checked last cycle but before that it was low without progesterone. I think a 5? but I did have the trigger that month so idk ....thanks again
