I have been able to bring my kids in as quickly as 30 minutes from the time I called.

Even when I was like hmm he doesn't seem like himself but I'm sure everything is OK I'm just a worried first-time mom they were like bring him in! Better safe than sorry! I was like OK great!

My first ped was like this. At the time, dd was 2 months old and acting very fussy and unlike herself. I called the ped and he took over 5 hours to call me back. By the time he finally called, I already had a new ped who saw dd. I would definitely change.

if you call your pediatrician...
We were always accommodated the same day. If my child had same symptoms as yours, they'll say come now. If it's more like the usual cough or cold and I just needed to get him checked, they'll ask what time is good for me, or inform me what's the best time, and they'll be upfront to say if they're booked and we may need to wait. But always they'll squeeze us in (or bump us ahead of the line depending on child's condition).

Absolutely they see us the same day, and if it's serious they tell is to come directly in. That's the name of the game in pediatrics I think. We see Dr Siev at Huntington Medical Group, and are very happy with the practice.

They have either told me to come in or asked if I would like to me to come in. They have spoken to me on a saturday night (someone is always on call) and told me to go into the office the next morning (SUnday). They are always very accommodating and flexible.

Same day always. Last week I called at 3pm and they closed at 4. They told me to come in 4pm and the dr will see me right after the last patient for the day.
