STRETCH MARK CREAM
Nothing. You either get them or you don't and no cream will change that.
I put coconut oil on to help with the itchiness though.

STRETCH MARK CREAM
I'm using coconut oil along with Palmer stretch mark cream. Not sure if it'll help but fingers crossed it will!!

STRETCH MARK CREAM
I use CeraVe lotion to moisturize. At 37 weeks I do not have any stretch marks but I think that is just luck--nothing you can buy is going to prevent them if you are prone to getting them.

Re: STRETCH MARK CREAM
Palmer's! I bought it in Babies-R-Us. It says it is for stretch marks right on the front. I got the pump lotion for the day and the tummy butter for night.

STRETCH MARK CREAM
I don't think anything will help prevent or get rid of them. From what they say, stretch marks are mostly a genetic predisposition thing. For itchiness, I've always used Palmer's cocoa butter and it works great!

I use both of these as well. I know people say it will not prevent them, but I figured it can't hurt!

STRETCH MARK CREAM
I used Palmers before I got dressed in the morning, after my shower at night, and then I slathered on more before I went to bed. I started almost as soon as I found out, too. Like another poster, I figured that it didn't hurt to try.

Re: STRETCH MARK CREAM
For DD I used the Targer knock-off of Johnson's Baby Lotion. I figured if it was "safe" for babies it was safe for me. With DS I used it here and there but mostly used nothing.
Didn't get stretch marks with either of them and I got pretty huge both times. I really think it's all genetic but like others said, lotion will help with itchiness.
Side note, I did get a good amount of stretch marks on my hips and boobs as a teen so I was *positive* that I would get them with pregnancy. Turned out I didn't get a single one with either baby. I found that to be really odd.

Re: STRETCH MARK CREAM
As others have said, I've heard that you will either get them or you won't based on genetics...no cream or lotion will prevent them. That being said, I use Pai Stretch Mark System because my sister got it for me as a gift. It's ridiculously expensive so I'd feel bad not using it. I do love it though and it helps with the itchiness.

Re: STRETCH MARK CREAM
I use Mama Mio and don't have any marks yet (34w2d). I don't care what anyone says about genetics - a little bit of lotion a day is worth it just in case!! LoL Plus it's always good to keep skin hydrated..I lotion even when I'm not PG...just not with stretch mark cream.

Re: STRETCH MARK CREAM
Palmer's Stretch Mark Cream.
I would recommend using something than nothing at all even if it just helps you reduce the itchiness.
My mom had nasty stretch marks all over her belly so I'm very religious about using some type of stretch mark cream to avoid the same fate. So far I only have minor stretch marks after going through 2 pregnancies.
