Where to stay in town-Lake George
Looking to stay right on Canada st in town. Want to be able to walk to dinner with the 3 kids. Just looking for comfy beds and clean. I know most in town places are not luxury. Cannot afford Sagamore.

Where to stay in town-Lake George
We stayed at O'sullivans one year because they were the only ones who had rooms available within walking distance to everything. It's on Canada street and has access to the lake and also a pool. It was nothing to write home about, but we had a great stay. I usually stay at "nicer" hotels but we booked last minute and needed 5 rooms, so it was available and affordable for everyone going. Also check into Surfside on the Lake, i think it was right next to O'sullivans and looked nicer.

Re: Where to stay in town-Lake George
We have stayed at the Marine Village Resort for three years in a row. Right on Canada Street-walking distance to all the stores etc and it has a private beach on the lake. this year we decided to try something new, so we will be staying at Surfside. I liked Marine Village Resort, was clean and affordable.

We keep our boat docked at the Sundowner and are very good friends with the family that owns it. They keep the place very clean and well maintained. They have a nice pool and a small beach area. Right in town and close to everything.

Re: Where to stay in town-Lake George
I just booked Quality Inn Lake George right on Canada Street across from the Lake for 2 nights Memorial Day weekend. Price was decent and it received good reviews.

we have stayed there since I was in high school. My family used to go there every year. Before the kids came, we stayed there, and are looking to stay there again with the boys.
