Where can I bring a bridesmaid gown for alterations
If I bought the dress online? Anyone know of any shops that will do it or a good seamstress in suffolk?

Bridal shops will only alter what you buy there.
Your local dry cleaner will be able to do it.

Not necessarily. I bought my wedding gown at Helen's Bridal in Commack. Our bridesmaid gowns were from David's Bridal and my MOH went to Helen's for alterations. Unless they only did it because I bought my gown there. I don't know.
I would recommend calling Helen's to see if they will do it.

True for most but some will do it. I know that Angel Bridal in East Islip will do outside gowns.

Not necessarily true. Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point takes outside dresses. They do a great job if you are that far out.

Not sure where in Suffolk you are, but I had a gown bought online altered at Rosie's in centereach. They did a good job, was on time, and pricing was good.

I've used Tanya's on Montauk Hway in Sayville a few times and have been very happy.

The fantasia website says outside alterations welcome, so I guess this varies from place to place...
