iPhone Issues
I have the iPhone 4S and it's almost 2 years old. (I do not want to buy a new cell phone right now.) It's been having some weird issues and I don't know how to fix them.
1. Everytime I use my camera (or Instagram) with even full charging power the phone dies and I have to recharge it.
2. WiFi doesn't work.
I do all updates by plugging my phone into my Mac.
Thoughts?

Re: iPhone Issues
call up apple and have them run a diagnostic test on your phone.
i had a similar issue with my 4s dying - but not related to the camera. it would tell me i was at 40%, and within 30 mins it would just shut down. i called up and the first person i spoke with just had me reset my phone; never ran a diagnostic. told me if i had issues to call back. a week later the phone would shut off on me constantly so the rep i spoke with ran a diagnostic test and told me right away my battery was failing and they sent me a new phone. it just arrived yesterday so I am going to set it up tonight

How old is your phone? Is it still under warranty? Did they send it to you free of charge?

my phone is about 1.5 years old i am not certain about the warranty but they sent it at no charge (they took cc info bc if they dont get the old one back they charge me for the new one but assuming i send it back there is no charge)
im sure when you call up they can look you up and let you know what is or isnt covered (if they find a problem)

Re: iPhone Issues
Had the same issue with no wifi. I wasn't covered anymore under warranty. I could buy a replacement phone or a brand new one. Apple told me that once wifi is grayed out, it's pretty much done. Just be careful now of any apps/internet you open. It will now use your data storage and that gets mighty expensive. If you need to use an app, close it out when you're done.
