If I have a recipe that calls for Balsamic Vinegar

and all I have is Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. Can I use that instead?
It's for a chicken crock pot recipe.

I am sure it would be ok.
The dressing will likely have more seasoning and spices in it than plain vinegar.
And also, there will be oil in the dressing, so it might be a bit more oily.
But I really don't think it will be bad.

I was thinking that about the spices.
I probably wouldn't have to add the garlic powder or basil. And just add the fresh garlic and onion. I"m going to try it.

I make a crock pot recipe that is chicken and balsamic dressing and it always comes out tasty (with carrots, and potatoes also).
