Gift Help!! 90 Yr Old Grandmother
Hi All!
I need help. I have NO idea what to get my Grandmother who turned 90 the other day. We are having a party for her on Sunday. I don't want to get her the usual Pandora charm (friends of the family are already getting her this). I am at a total loss. She doesn't go out too much anymore.

My grandma is 93 and I have been buying her things she needs and uses daily. I buy her nice body washes from l'occitane or a new Vera Bradley handbag. Or gift cards to michaels (she is an acid knitter)

This is what we do for my grandmother every Christmas- I hate it because it's pretty much the same each year, but she really loves it. We'll make a basket of this pricey hand cream she likes and chocolates and mini bottles of wine (since she likes to have a glass once in awhile but hates buying big bottles since they go to waste, same goes for mini bailey's bottles), we also got her some cozy slippers and PJs since her apartment was so cold this winter for some reason. There's been other little things in the baskets, too, but I just can't seem to think of them!

I grandma is in her 80s and gets her hair done weekly. So I get her a GC to the salon she goes too. Or maybe a gift card to someplace that she like to eat out at.

Gift Help!! 90 Yr Old Grandmother
My grandma is 97 and for the past few years I just buy her GC's so that she can buys books or crossword puzzles. She reads a ton and loves the crosswords so I'd much rather get her the GC rather than get her something she will never use.

My grandmother is 98 and really doesn't need or want anything. I usually just do a card and flowers. She enjoys getting framed pictures too. You could do a delivery from the fruit company, a really nice blanket, large print magazines or books.

Gift Help!! 90 Yr Old Grandmother
My grandma still goes out to get her hair done so we usually all the grandkids chip in and pay for her hair for the year.
We have also given her gift baskets of chocolates, wines, snack type items to keep in the house for guests. For Christmas I bought her a case of yoohoo and she thought it was the best gift ever lol (its her favorite drink).

I've given a box of note cards and pretty stamps or you could get an assortment of greeting cards for all different occasions.
I remember my Mom used to get my grandmother a big thing of good olive oil. At the time I thought it was weird but my grandmother would always get the cheap stuff and really had everything she needed.

My great-grandma is 102 ( ) and in a nursing home in FL. I don't get to see her much because of that...a few times a year. I've given her slippers, a bathrobe, pretty pillows for her bed, blouses and pants, chocolates (her favorite), blankets, and photo books (like, coffee table books) about New England. Her vision is going so photo books are better for her than regular novels.

GC for somewhere she shops regularly. Practical seems to go over best at that age.
I gave my grandma (who always says not to get anything) a gift card to Dollar Tree of all places & she was hysterical that I gave her a "shopping spree". 
I've also given GCs to her grocery store, Target for her toiletries, etc.

My grandpa loved GCs to Shoprite & CVS!
My grandma is 92. We usually do a gift from the whole family, because there aren't a lot of different things that she wants. We usually do a hair GC as the main gift and then sometimes some candy that she likes or mums ( she has a little patch outside her apt where she-- the super or my dad, really-can plant things *her birthday is in the fall) and a couple of tops or pajamas or whatever she needs at that time.
For her 90th, we were going to chip in & get her a new easy chair, but I she never went through with picking one out.
And I'd just like to say, God bless all these "mature" ladies! My great-aunt is going to be 101 on Easter!

My grandparents have developed quite the sweet tooth in their 90's, so a food basket is always a hit. One year I had developed and blown up and framed photos of their hometown in Italy (I had visited that particular year). That was a special gift they loved. A photo book is a nice gift as well, of all their grand kids and relatives.
