freelance work?

Where can I look for freelance writing jobs? I already write for a parenting magazine and a family blog, but I'd like to do more. I don't even know where to begin to look. Any thoughts?

Re: freelance work?

If you have a medical background, I hire freelance writers and so do several attorneys in my field. However, the medical knowledge is crucial. I prefer to do my writing myself, but I have learned to delegate it at times. Even when I do job out the work, I can easily add the legal information myself, so I am more concerned with medical. Other than that, I just know that ghost writing for blogs is one avenue, yet it sometimes pays so little unless you find someone who really understands the value of it and the time it takes.

I am a RN currently doing some work for a law firm reviewing medical records. If you are hiring at some point in the future, I would be interested in finding out some more information. Thanks!

No, I don't. I'm a guidance / college counselor with a BA in English. Thank you for the tip, though.
