St. Lucia or Turks
Looking for advice on either Coconut Bay in St. Lucia. Is the beach water rough? Are waves rocky?
also The Alexandra at Turks… any info would be great.
Looking to travel with our kids, 10, 4, 4.

St. Lucia or Turks
Can't comment on St. Lucia, but I think the water/beaches in Turks & Caicos was the most beautiful of all the islands I've been to (about 15 of them).

St. Lucia or Turks
DH and I absolutely love St. Lucia but I'd say with kids you are probably better off in Turks. St. Lucia has great hiking, zipling, and more adventurous stuff where as Turks is really just great beaches and relaxation.

Def Turks. St. Lucia isn't kid friendly with all the cliffs and beach access isn't good from the hotels.
Turks has much calmer beaches and is very kid friendly.

St. Lucia or Turks
I stayed at coconut bay back in 2005 or 6 I can't remember. I paid next to nothing for the trip so I didn;t expect much. It was fine for a 5 day trip for DH & I. It was not a 5 star resort but perfectly clean and nice and food was fine.
