Vacation help with kids
Looking for a family vacation to a Carribean Island. We are a family of 5 it gets expensive. Beaches in Turks wants over 12k and I just can't think about spending that much. We are open to any ideas, calm beaches please. We've been to Aruba, Mexico DR. We are open to all inclusive and non all inclusive.
Any ideas…
TIA!

Re: Vacation help with kids
hey there.. i actually posted something similar a few weeks ago. We went to a travel agent. also looking for all inclusive carribean. We booked to the DR. Iberostar bravaro. I have a less than 2 and a 15 year old= three adults. Whole trip with airfare- was very reasonable. We are doing 5 days, 4 nights, and direct flights. IT was reasonable. I besrostar is a 4+ resort. Id be more than happy to talk more PM. I can let you know how it goes as we havent gone yet. Dont know when you were looking to go. Good luck. You can do it.. i also wanted to go to turks and caicos, or bahamas, and just way too expensive.

We've been to the DR already, kinda looking to go somewhere else. The DR is nice and it is cheaper than most islands. You will enjoy it.

Re: Vacation help with kids
We were looking at Turks and Caicos too... Just too $$ and IMO, far overpriced. Rainy season is a real issue. We were totally rained out staying in the Bahamas in shoulder season (late May). We love Puerto Rico (the rain can be relentless though). We found that we could stay at an amazing hotel at half the price or less in Cancun (which after spring break is lovely). Other options that fit were Aruba... But we've been there. When price is an issue, we go down to Florida. We love Florida. If your kids are older, costa rica is amazing, but it involves quite a bit of commuting once you are there.
