Wow - Freedom pharmacy called and.....
if I want to do an injectible cycle the cost to try for the meds is at my (discounted - lol) price $3,258.00 for one month....not including the IUI which is $2000.00 WOWZA this IF is no joke.....Thats for just the first month -is taking the injectibles really worth it? do women typically have better rates of success with Injectibles -I am just so shocked by how expensive - i knew high but I didnt think $5,000 a cycle high wow......are there any other pharmacy options? I didnt eve call them they called me that an order was called in to them?

Holy crap. Maybe your re has some to give you that were donated by patients who no longer need them.
I wasn't successful with my iui injectables BUT I did have wayyyyy more follicles using them.

The RE did mention this - but then not a second time when I go back Friday I will have to ask if there are any other pharms or types of meds maybe there is generic - IDK.....i was figuring maybe 3000.00 a month for the whole process not just the meds.....how do women have left over to donate - is there usually extra leftover?

Wow, that is crazy high. I was lucky and my insurance hadn't pre-approved my meds so my nurse just gave me extras that they had in the office. FWIW my first IUI with just clomid didn't take. Second one with injectibles did and now I'm PG with twins.

I had two extra gonal f pens one cycle. It happens. Definitely definitely happens. They call in more precrips bc they don't know how you will react. Especially those that are covered by insurance. I responded very well to very little meds so I had extra.
Def ask the re about it.

What kinda of response did you have to clomid? Did you ever try Femara?
For me, with clomid, I'd get at least 2 as high as 4. With Femara, I got 5. Any way you can go higher dose of one of these b4 jumping to Inject? It's so very expensive.

What dosage of meds are they putting you on? For that price, it seems you would get a lot of meds especially if this is stimming for an IUI and not IVF.

No I never got a quote for Kraupners - I just got a call from freedom telling me that this order was callled in - but I still have to have a hysteroscopy before I begin another cycle so I will ask if I can try kraupmers too Thanks!

ugh, I know the pain of paying OOP all too well  . Definitely ask the nurse to call in the script to Kraupners to get a comparison. Best of luck!

Yes it is. It's a pill. I responded very well to it. Doesn't hurt to ask.
