First RE appointment review and 2nd opinion with RMA
Hi Ladies,
I had my first RE appointment with RSofNY (Stonybrook) yesterday. I like the office and the doctor was nice but I felt rushed because he had an event to get to. He wants to have another semen analysis for my husband and next week I’ll have a sono and blood work. I could of had my day 3 testing last night but he doesn’t want to do anything until further testing. We’re away when I ovulate in May so probably not until June. I was heart broken and started to tear up.
I’ve decided to get a 2nd opinion with RMA (Dr. Flisser) tomorrow. I’m going to have blood taken and a sono and discuss our options. The girl who answered said there could be a chance that we do something this month (I got my AF on Tuesday).
I don’t want to rush this but it’s been 15 months and I’m losing my patience! I wish we started this sooner. The only issue we know we have is low motility for my husband.

I hate when doctors make me feel rushed, especially with something as important as this. I've teared up at more than one RE appointment. It's an emotional time. I'm sure he's used to that.
Good luck with the second opinion!

I love RMA. Dr. Mukherjee is by far my favorite there.

I used RMA and I really had a great experience with them. I highly recommend! Monitoring times are great and they are really efficient. I actually had Dr. flisser for a few of my monitoring apps last year and he was nice. Good luck!

Another RMA mommy here. I had Dr. Mukherjee as my physician and monitored on weekdays with Dr. Flisser. My DH & I were very happy with the practice overall & loved both doctors. You are in good hands.
