Any update from Freedom?
YUP. I was gonna post today. SO I called everyone. GHI and Express scripts say I have no coverage according to the computer they are looking in. They can't tell me why. I called back Freedom and asked them why a manager hasn't called me back after almost 2 weeks when I left several messages. On Friday I got a voicemail from a manager at Freedom and she said she ran my insurance again and she was crediting my CC $2,500 and it should post next week! WOO HOO.
Yes!!!!!

Thanks ladies!!! It was a battle and I still have no idea why this is all happening but at least this issue is taken care of. I'm hoping I have no issues in the future!

Persistence!!! Great job! In this IVF battle, we have to be on top of everything and fight for every little thing! So happy it worked out!

Thanks! So annoying that we have to be on top of everything. Tomorrow I already have 3 IF calls lined up about trying to find cheap HGH. Always something. Can't wait for this all to be over!

FYI NYC DOE Employees No More Injectable coverage for fertility ****Maybe it is!
Hi Ladies! I am also a NYC DOE Employee and I have been given the run around. Freedom Pharmacy told me a few weeks ago they don't cover Gonal F and that I would need to have it ordered directly by GHI? Yet today Pica told me I would order injectable fertility medication by Freedom Pharmacy..so I wanted to confirm if that is accurate? Also, if we are only given 3 medications a lifetime then by doing an IUI with injectables we won't have that meds if we need it for IVF? Thanks so much! I wish things were easier instead of the run around!

Have ur dr order the max. I'm NYC doe. My dr ordered 10 boxes of Gonal f. That covered 4 iui's with a very decent amount left over. If freedom is giving you a hard time, try Acreedo. It's an express script division and you use your pica number. I get my lovenox through them.
