Had my first IUI Saturday

DH came in with me and was like "I will never complain about giving a sample again!" It was uncomfortable.

Does anyone else feel like full or a bit crampy afterwards? I just don't know what is normal. i was also exhausted and napped both days this weekend. prob from the clomid.

now i have to go back in one week for a progesterone test which i have no idea what that is for.

I've never had an IUI, but I was a little crampy after the transfer for my IVF. I think minor cramping is fairly common anytime they're shooting something into your uterus.

The progesterone test is probably to make sure that your body is producing enough progesterone on its own to support a pregnancy. If your level is too low, they'll put you on a supplement.

I did feel full and crampy for a day or so after my IUI. I think it was from ovulating. The procedure itself didn't bother me at all though.

I think every dh says the same thing! And then they complain again anyways! After my first IVF, dh said that he would let me pick the name (he hates all the names I like.)

I think it's normal to feel a little crampy from the trigger shot, not necessarily the procedure itself. I always felt bloated, so don't feel alone!

Yes crampy and full is normal after IUI. I too get very tired its from all the crazy or hormones.
