Jogging Stroller
DH's really interested in getting a jogging stroller. While neither of us are avid runners DH does go out from time to time and I might be motivated to do so as well.
Couple questions:
1 - What features should we be looking for? 2 - Where's the best to get a gently used/hand me down stroller? Not 100% certain on how much we will actually use it so we don't want to break the bank on this. 3 - Anyone possibly selling one?
TIA!!!

Re: Jogging Stroller
I highly recommend the Bob. We actually use it as our every day stroller too.

Re: Jogging Stroller
The BOB is the best. I use it as my regular stroller most of the time. I am a casual runner and its great and its great for walking and the beach and sidewalks and well everything. It has a nice basket too.
It tends to be the cheapest on either Amazon or Diapers.com

Jogging Stroller
We got the BOB Ironman. Lightweight with a fixed front wheel. We are pretty avid runners and that is the one all of our running friends recommended.

Re: Jogging Stroller
BoB is by far the best. We have a Bob revolution, I love it. We use it for everything. It steers so smoothly.
ETA: You can't jog with the baby until it is around 4 months I believe.

For under $300 you can get a graco jogging stroller, along with a matching car seat and base, on Amazon. I think it's an excellent deal, especially for a stroller that gives the more expensive bob some healthy competition.

Re: Jogging Stroller
I have the Graco and it's great. It's a little heavy, but once you get over that it's perfect for a walk or run in the park. I take DD out for jogs a few times a week and have had no problems. It's got cup holders and storage space to put my stuff as well as a snack tray and cup holders for the baby. Even better is the Graco car seats click right into it as well so you can use it with an infant as well as a toddler.

Re: Jogging Stroller
The Bob is great. I have had 2 over the years. I had the ironman with the fixed wheel for dc #1. I liked it but it was really just for running. Also, when the alignment was pushed slightly off, which happened often, it became hard to steer it straight with the front wheel being fixed. I got the Bob sport utility when I had #3 and I liked it better. It was more versatile as a regular stroller. Also, I bought the infant carseat adaptor and was able to use it right away. I have sold several strollers on Craig's list - that is a good place to look.

Re: Jogging Stroller
Love the BOB Revolution! I had a single one and got a double when I had baby number two. The single is easy to fold, has an attachment available for an infant car seat. Nice size basket underneath. The front wheel can be locked in place for running or swivel for othwr activities. Great for when you are going somewhere that is not on a paved ground. I would stick with the revolution so you have the wheel that can be locked straight or swivel. It's very hard to maneuver around when wheel is locked straight. They have one with a fixed wheel but those are better for people who run a lot.
It's expensive but worth it.
