progesterone numbers??
so per my other post, a few people said i should be taking progesterone bc my level was too low.
i had 6.99 7dpiui
the nurse i spoke with said that was fine, and that they want more than 3 bc they were just checking to see if i had ovulated.
should it be more than 10 a week after IUI? this is my first cycle, so I am new to the lingo!
TIA!

progesterone numbers??
the thought is that the higher the progesterone the more likely it is that the iui/implantation was successful.

It should be over 10 without drugs.
I always had low p. My second chemical pregnancy, my prog was a 5. My re said that was too low to sustain a pregnancy.
My successful bfp was with a 23.

This is true. But progesterone levels also show whether or not you ovulated. On a medicated cycle, REs usually like to see at least a 10, indicating a good O. 7 means that you ovulated but that it was a weak O.
ETA: Was it a medicated cycle? And are you seeing an RE?

Re: progesterone numbers??
On an unmedicated cycle i had a progesterone level of 9 at 7dpo. My doctor likes to see at least 10. I will be using progesterone suppositories this month.

I'd call your re and ask to be put on suppositories. It couldn't hurt.
