How does one go about selling a diamond?
I have a diamond solitaire pendant that I never wear. I think I would like to sell it. What would be the best way? is there a reputable place someone can recommend?

I went to James at Ideal Jewelers (he used to be at Attias flea market). He now has a location in Gateway Plaza in Patchogue. He was very honest and gave me the best offer. I have continued to do business with him since. Great guy!

Have you thought of resetting it? I feel like that's an option we tend to forget about.

I sold a few diamonds at TriCounty (second floor). I just walked from jewlery booth to booth and went with the best price.
Just keep in mind that you will get less than what was paid originally, probably much less. With that in mind, you may want to consider having it reset into something you will wear.

He is great that has been my mom jeweler forever such a nice guy
