Mother's Day Brunch Locations
Easter was yesterday and I had to spend ANOTHER holiday running from family to family. While I love seeing both sides of our family, it's a lot for my group to schelp back and forth and it breaks my heart to watch both moms work so hard and not enjoy the holidays.
So that got me thinking of Mother's Day. I can't host myself this year since I'll be having a baby the following week and I'm under doctor's orders to rest. I'm considering mentioning to each side that we all go out together. We've never done anything like this before so I would love to hear ideas on places to go.
We'll be a very large group, probably about 30 with at least 8 young kids. And some relative are quite stingy. My first thought was a hotel. We live in Bellmore, Merrick, Glen Cove Area, Babylon and Centereach so we cover a good portion of LI.

Mother's Day Brunch Locations
You can something similar to the brunch the morning after a wedding. We did ours in the marriott where we had our hotel block. We did a buffet brunch with omelette station and had a private room.
Woodbury country club is hosting a Mother's Day brunch. It would end up being a lot per person and 30-40 people is a huge amount to accommodate essentially last minute since it's a few weeks away.

With a group that large I would try either a very large place Irish Coffee Pub or Millridge Inn where they have lots of private/semi private rooms. My family has done large family dinners at both but I have no experience with brunch.

I was at Easter Brunch yesterday @ Venetian Yacht club, Babylon. It was nice. They are having a Mother's Day Brunch.
However, it would get very pricey for that amount of people. $40 for brunch, I didnt really get that much.

windows on the lake in ronkonkoma has a nice one.
Mama Lombardis in Holbrook has Mothers Day brunch too.

Mother's Day Brunch Locations
While I have never gone there, I constantly hear great things about the Black Forest Brew Haus in Farmingdale. Price is supposedly very reasonable, and there is a great variety of food!

Does anyone know of a place that offers a Mother's Day brunch under $30pp? I can't believe how expensive some of these places are!! $55pp at Lombardi's!!!! For brunch????

I got an email Piccolo's in Bellmore that they were hosting a Mother's Day brunch for $25.95 pp and $13.95 for kids 12 and under. I was shocked it was so cheap and wanted to do this with our fam but my moms are insisting on hosting their own. Oh well.
I would definitely go here! Never had a bad meal at Piccolo's.
I also got an email from Hemmingway's in Wantagh but without prices. They may be over $30.
