Heartworm, Flea & ticks?
What is everyone using for their pups? We are almost out and I want to place an order. I'm trying to decide to stick with what I had or try something new.

Heartworm, Flea & ticks?
I use Heartguard Plus chewable for the heartworm, and Frontline Plus for fleas. I hate how greasy it makes my dog's skin for a few days so was considering looking into Comfortis which is an oral pill for fleas/ticks. Anyone use Comfortis? I was also considering Sentinel, but I've read very mixed reviews about it!

Heartguard & Frontline. Sometimes I get Armour something @ Walmart for flea & ticks (3 dose $25). Dont feel comfortable giving oral treatments for flea & ticks but I too do not like oil on neck & now I have a toddler I have to really watch.

Trifexis...one pill takes care of it all. A little more expensive but we shove it in peanut butter and takes it on the 1st of every month so we're covered.

Revolution We have been using it on Murphy for 11 years, never a flea/tick on him. And it has heartworm preventative in it.

Re: Heartworm, Flea & ticks?
When we used Revolution, we actually did find fleas on our dog. But then again, that's normal b/c it takes hours to kill them.
We use Frontline now for over 8 years. I have also seen a flea on my dog here or there but I know it's because he just came in with them. Again, it takes hours to kill a flea on a dog.
Frontline and Revolution are not repellants and it takes hours for the flea to die.
