If you use the Medela Freestyle...

please tell me if you like it, love it or hate it. i didn't do much research into various insurance pump vendors and didn't realize the major difference in portability with the freestyle so i just went with the Medela advanced double electric whatever through my insurance. now that i am back to work and traveling for my job a lot, i am considering buying the freestyle but hesitant to spend the money. i've read some negative reviews of it that suction isn't as good as the other Medelas. what have you found? i have a pretty good supply but my body seems very reactive to slight changes in demand (or breast emptying), for better or worse.

If you use the Medela Freestyle...

LOVE the Freestyle. I had no issues with the suction - I got more milk with the Freestyle than the PIS. SO much easier and so much more portable. No need to install the tubes or plug it in, and it has a timer.

If you use the Medela Freestyle...

Hands down the Freestyle is better. I do not notice any chance in terms of suction but the portability, parts are much easier to clean (not as many little nooks and crannies). I used freestyle with my first dc and I traveled alot for work, the freestyle made pumping on the go much easier. With my second dc i use the pis but my job is different, I am at a desk for most of the day so I don't need the portability but if I did, I would go back to the freestyle. good luck!

LOVED it!!! Greatest thing ever. Very effective, and just used a regular sports bra that I cut out to hold it and it was totally hands free. Clips on your pants too

I used both with dd. I loved how much more portable and less parts the freestyle had but I always got more milk from my double advance pis
