DS is turning 3 in Sept. We have started the transition from EI to the school district. He currently receives services at DDI, ST and SEIT. He will most likely continue with all of the above with the addition of PT.

Through the school he can continue to attend DDI. But the school suggested that we look at other schools as well. They suggested Leeway, New Interdisciplinary and Just Kids (Lindenhurst).

I am going to see Leeway and NIS. Not sure if I will see Just Kids. I work in Lindenhurst but live in Holbrook and it just seems really far away for school.

Does anyone have any feedback on these schools?

If you like DDI then I would leave him there. Every single great teacher or therapist I have met or worked with has worked at DDI to start their careers. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't send DD to DDI.

My friend sent her son to Leeway and loved it. I sent my DS to NIS many years ago and we had a good experience.
