Those who use BB or CC Cream
As summer approaches im trying to break my foundation addiction. Im also noticing that im beginning to get dark spots from the sun etc in my old age (32). If you use BB or CC cream instead of foundation do you put SPF under it as well? Which do you use, and do you recommend? I should add that i have very sensitive skin, and the littlest things cause a breakout. Id have to use something oil free.

Re: Those who use BB or CC Cream
I use Garnier BB cream and it does come in an oil free version. (i use the original though) It has SPF 15. Under it I use Murad Oil Control Mattifyer- which is pricey but SOOOO good at controlling shine all day. It also has an SPF 15 in it.

Re: Those who use BB or CC Cream
I am not a foundation person - I found the BB or CC creams to be drying after awhile. I also have ridiculously sensitive eyes and hate to try anything new - EVERYTHING makes my eyes burn/water.
My sister at me and suggested I mix some foundation (I use Armani) into my usual moisturizer .
Works FABULOUSLY b/c I hate foundation, and this gives me an even face, w/o feeling like I'm wearing makeup

Re: Those who use BB or CC Cream
I use a Stila BB cream that has spf in it and gives my skin a glow with a slight tan tint. I break out easily as well and have had no issues!

Alternatively, you could use a tinted moisturizer. Many already have SPF in them. I use Laura Mercier which has 20spf.

I have very sensitive skin also, so I use Clinique BB & CC creams. Both have SPF 30 built in

I didn't notice any big difference between the two, but I'd say that maybe the CC cream has a little bit better coverage

Re: Those who use BB or CC Cream
I use the Garnier BB cream (oil free version) and since it has SPF in it, I don't put anything under it. They just came out with an anti-aging formula that my mom uses and likes a lot!

Those who use BB or CC Cream
I use Smashbox BB cream which has SPF 30 in it. My moisturizer (which I put on first) also has SPF 15 so I do not add any additional SPF. My skin is sensitive to products and can tend to breakout and I have not had any trouble with this BB cream.

Re: Those who use BB or CC Cream
I've been using PurMinerals CC cream lately. I got a sample in my Birchbox and am going to purchase a full size for Summer.
It's been compatible with my sensitive skin and helps even out my tone. (I have freckles, redness, hormonal breakouts.) It also has SPF 40, which I feel is sufficient and it's more than other CC creams. I wear a moisturizer underneath it and haven't had any problems with dryness.
The brand also has a 4 in 1 tinted moisturizer that was rated highly but I tried it and it doesn't have enough coverage for me. If I had perfect skin, I'd probably like it.
