Re: Face Primer
I have tried a few and learned I need to stay away from silicone based primers. My foundation would slide off.
I just purchased and LOVE Make Up Forever HD primer in #1 it is color correcting since I have some red in my face.
I would go to Sephora and ask for samples. I did this last week. I ended up with 2 primer samples and 3 foundation samples.

Re: Face Primer
I used to use the Smashbox Primer but found that it really did nothing for me.
I recently got a sample of TooFaced Primed & Poreless Oil Free Skin Smoothing Primer for Sensitive Skin and it's AMAZING. Literally the minute it goes on my face you can see a difference in my skin. My makeup stays put all day. The Smashbox one would just seep into my skin and would basically be pointless. This one does exactly what it's supposed to do - my skin looks and feels so smooth.

Re: Face Primer
I use Mac Primer (no color). Love the way it feels on my face. Very smooth and keeps my makeup on.

Are these 2 separate ones?

Re: Face Primer
I use Maybelline Babyskin. I used to use Smashbox. It has the same ingredients but it is so much less expensive. If you are going to stick with the Smashbox, just get the travel size as it is a much better deal for your money. Smashbox is excellent, I just feel that for my money I can skimp the little bit on the maybelline and it gives practically the same results.
You need to know whether you have a silicone or water based foundation for which primer will work for you. The Loreal one is a water based primer. If your foundation starts to bead up on the primer then you know that they are incompatible. If any of the ingredients in your foundation/bb/cc cream end in the word -cone then that is a silicone type. HTH

Thanks so much. I have used the smash box one but not that thrilled on it. I use the garner bb cream sometimes and makeup hd mostly.

Re: Face Primer
Should you use a primer if you just wear tinted moisturizer? I wear that every day instead of foundation.
