What is your 9/10 month old doing?

My son is 9.5 months old and I am wondering how he compares to other babies his age. Thx

My son just turned 9 months on 5/16

He is crawling now. Almost can feed himself finger food and is starting to say "baba" lol

He is also standing up a lot. Compared to my first, he is doing things a lot quicker!

My DD is 9 months old she has been crawling pulling herself up to a stand, starting to feed herself some finger foods, waving hi and bye, clapping, shaking her head to say no

Nothing she should be doing!!

9 months and all she wants to do is stand and walk. She hasn't really gotten either of these things down yet, but she is pretty close.

She refuses to crawl, thinks finger food is for playing with and throwing on the floor (so we stick with purées), uses her sippy cup as a homemade sprinkler system and thinks naps are for amateurs.

What is your 9/10 month old doing?

DD has mastered finger foods. She has 2 bottom teeth and is cutting 1 on top. She doesn't crawl, but will push herself backwards while laying on her belly. No walking, standing or pulling up on furniture. She'll pull herself up to standing with our assistance. She still takes 2 naps a day, but fights them even though she's super tired. She babbles alot, but only really says hi, hey, and dada. I'm lucky if I get a mom every once in awhile. She cries when anyone tries to talk to her other than me, DH and my parents. She's starting to get separation anxiety when we leave for work in the mornings. I don't know what normal for this age but she seems to be generally happy and easy going most of the time.

My ds turned 10 months on may 14th. He crawls, stands up, walks great while holding on to couches, tables, etc, and will take a couple steps without holding on at times.

His naps are inconsistent but he sometimes just needs to be put down and he will fall asleep. He is always so busy so he gets to tired at times.

He still eats purees but I am trying to introduce more solid and table food. He can feed himself stuff like peas, puffs, little pieces of cut up food.

He says mama, dada, and babbles. Will wave hi and bye. Put his hands up if you ask how big are you and will give a kiss if you ask.

He will be 10 months next week..

He crawls, waves hi and bye, claps, says "mama, dada, hi, bye" and shakes his head no.

He eats anything we eat but just little pieces. Lots of stuff like pancakes, oatmeal, turkey, meatloaf, pastina, fruit, veggies etc. We actually don't really give baby food anymore, he does really well with what we are eating!

What is your 9/10 month old doing?

my DS is almost 10 months. he JUST started crawling (like this week) and tries to pull up on things. he does a mixture of purees and finger foods. he says dada like a champ but that's about it lol! doesn't wave or clap but will give you a high 5! his sleep is good but IMO he wakes up too early. most days he will take 2 naps and they vary in length.

cruises and stands on his own but relaly enjoys crawling and CLIMBING!

was a late babbler so we are just starting to hear specific noises

can feed puffs, small pieces of food but not with utensil

sleep is awful. always has been. maybe our fault but what can you do now.

What is your 9/10 month old doing?

There is a huge range of what babies do at that age. So don't compare.

My ds was walking and climbing everything eating some table food but mostly baby food 3 meals a day.

DS is 9.5 months old. He's got 6 teeth in & eats both table food & purees. He makes sounds like "mama" & "dada" but not with meaning, just babbling. He doesn't clap, wave, or respond to anything we say to show he knows what we mean yet. He's definitely behind with gross motor skills... he rolled over late (at 8 months finally), and can finally sit up without falling over most of the time... but if he does fall over while sitting, he can't get himself back up. He can't crawl (if we put him on his belly he tries, but can't get himself on all fours or move himself forward so he gets frustrated pretty quickly). He doesn't try to stand or walk yet. His fine motor skills are better. He sleeps ok at night, usually about 9-9.5 hours straight unless something is bothering him, like teething or the thunder last night. He doesn't nap well during the day or fall asleep easily, so that's always a struggle & he always seems tired during the day.

Has 4 teeth -- middle two top/bottom. Crawls, climbs steps, cruises, walks with push walker, can stand unassisted for about 10 seconds but shows no interest in taking a step. Says 'da', cat, hi and ball. Waves hi and bye. Claps. Can do high five. Mastered finger foods. Drinks from a sippy.

... has no interest in sleeping through the night

My twin boys are 10mo.

They are both crawling, cruising and climbing all over the place. They both say Dada and Hi... one of them can say Mama, too. They take 2 naps, but they are definitely starting to transition to 1. They have just started refusing purées and pretty much eat anything that we're having... One of them has 6 teeth (top 4 and bottom 2) and the other has 4 (top 2 and bottom 2).

Just turned 9 months this week.... He waves hi, says mama only when he's upset and will say dada if I ask "where's daddy?!!". He chases and loves our four cats, prefers to feed himself than to be fed (he's not a huge eater, he loves certain foods but I still think he prefers to nurse ) hmmm super easygoing and smiley and currently goes to a music and swim class weekly. Oh, he also takes two naps a day of varying length but there are days he just takes one very long nap. Hmm no teeth yet, can stand holding on, and drinks from the sippy.

What is your 9/10 month old doing?

DS will be 10 months on the 30th. He is walking steadily, feeds himself finger foods-whatever we're eating usually (but still won't hold his own damn bottle!), obviously crawling. He is obsessed with climbing the stairs and god forbid the gate doesn't get closed he gets up very quickly and its giving me a heart attack

Naps once a day and still wakes up at night
2 bottom teeth and I think the top 2 are about ready to pop thru
