my good friend's first child is turning one. He's also the first grandchild on both sides. They are having a big party. I was thinking of getting him a little tikes cozy coupe. Is that a good gift? if not, what do you suggest?
Its his first summer so I wanted to get something for outside plus he has TONS of stuff inside already. I will give a gift receipt of course.

I feel like that is probably the most common gifts. Maybe a sand box or water table, radio flyer wagon or tricycle...I know my son's godmother and then 3 of our friends bought him the same car. It's a great gift but really heavy to carry back to the store and return.

My DD just turned one. She got a water table everyone at the party loved. I suggest a water table not sand and water or the bubble machines are a hit too. A wagon was great too!

My dd loves loves the car that you push from step 1. I personally think it's a little easier on the parents to use than the coupe. Plus you can throw it in your car and take it to the parks, grandparents, etc.

My go-to gift for 1 or 2 year olds lately in the $50 range has been the Melissa and Doug shopping cart. It's usually about $49 on Amazon and it's always a hit. It's heavy and awesome quality.

honestly i hate our cozy coupe.
i love our radio flyer 3 in 1 bike, the FP laugh and learn house, personalized step stool, and I wish I was gifted a water table or a slide or an outdoor bench set.
So please pick one of those six choices over the cozy coupe. It was my least favorite gift!!

What about a basketball hoop for outside or a t ball set? Water tables are also great. DD just got a cozy coupe at 2 and she can still barely move it. I just ordered a Rody horse for a friend's one year old. Not an outdoor toy really but it's different and I think only online so not a common gift. It says 2+ but I can't imagine a one year old wouldn't have a blast with it. My 2 year old adores hers.

We just had my son's first birthday party.. he got the cozy coupe truck from my husband's grandmother and a playhouse from my mil. He got a basketball hoop, water table, and 4 ride on toys. I returned two of them. I really like the water table and my favorite part of the basket ball hoop is that they called to ask if it was okay. ..
