Nope No interest at all. She actually screams bloody murder at the mention of pooping on the potty instead of hiding under my dining room table.
We will re-visit trying again after the holidays are over in January.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
Yes. We had a setback for a couple of weeks, but I definitely consider her potty trained. I still put her in a pull-up if we're going to be out a long time, but she doesn't use them anymore, she's finally learned that it's gross to pee yourself As for overnights, we're working towards that. Every morning she wakes up and gets upset that she's wet, but to be honest, I'm not waking up in the middle of the night to take her to the bathroom. Bad mommy, right?

Same exact scenario here but she does call for Daddy in the middle of the night to go pee pee and has been waking up dry.

Yes, she was fully trained in August/September. I do still put her in Pull Ups at night though.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
DS is 25 months and we're nowhere near being potty trained. He asked and went pee on the potty a week ago and hasn't done it since. I do still put him on if he asks, but he hasn't done anything but sit there and make "pssss" sounds with his mouth.

DD justed turned 2 on 11/12...so far, she's gone #1 on the potty serveral times, but that's it. Our ped said no need to rush it at this point...but I for one can't wait until she's out of diapers!

yes, 100%. I still put a pull up at night because I'm scared. She wakes up dry 90% of the time.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
yes. Kaitee is day potty trained!
At 27 months old we got her Pooh (her favorite) stickers and gave her stickers every time she went pee. 2 days later she stopped having accidents and has been potty trained since. She even holds it in the car and pees in public toilets.
She pees sooo much at night and is such a heavy sleeper that I don't think she will be night trained for a LONG time. But I will take the days. I am saving so much on not buying diapers for her!

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
Yep, she was fully trained in October (28 months). It just happened. She had no interest and then all of a sudden she was waking up dry. I bought her underwear and that was it. We had a minor setback with #2 but that is all good now. Even overnight!!!!! I just lucked out with her.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
Sara was trained at2 year 4 months. She is 100% trained during the day. She wears a pull up at night but takes it off on her own in the morning. SHe says it is gross. SHe is not ready however to stay dry at night. I also put a pull up on if she naps.
Sara loves wearing her panties
She will be 3 in February

D to the itto.
We are in no rush to do it. HOWEVER, in the last couple of days she has been asking to sit on the potty but she does not go on it.

Kaitee would do this, so we put a poster board up next to the toilet and showed her stickers and told her she gets one if she goes and she went!!! It only took 2 days with stickers to potty train her. I recommend trying stickers
Now 1 month later she goes in on her own and goes. She only calls me when she poops so i can help her wipe. It makes life so much easier.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
DS just started showing interest and going on the potty about a week and a half ago. I've been keeping him in underwear when we're home and he was doing really well, but then we were away for Thanksgiving and he spent some time with the grandparents so we've taken a step back. I'm hopeful!

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
Marcie - if it makes you feel better T wasn't trained until a few weeks before her third bday. She was SOOO resistant.
She had to be trained for school. I literally started training her a week before school began. It only took 2 days - I'm not kidding. I actually think waiting made it less stressful for both of us. (of course every kid is different!)
I have some good tips - if you are interested FM me!

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
No. We were pushing it off because we didn't have heat in the bathrooms until recently. She'll tell us "Poop on the potty" after she's gone in her diaper, so she's at the stage where she knows what's going on. We'll probably start working on it soon. It's been a little chaotic in the house with all the construction going on. Hopefully in a week or two things will start getting back to normal, and we can start trying.

She will pee on the FP potty but no other potty. She tells me right after she poops but we are still working on it. She is almost 28 months.

Re: Parents of 2 1/2 year olds
no and DS really doesn't want anything to do with it. Lately I have been putting him on the potty a couple times a day, but nothing more than a drop has come out yet.
Don't know what else to do........he seems afraid of underwear if that makes any sense.

nope..we are sporadic..It's on her terms, she'll only go on it if she wants too, not when mommy wants her too.
