Re: Disney resorts beds
I think it is subjective. We have stayed at the poly, AKL CBR and POR. Honestly they are all a toss up.
I will note that the values and CBR are doubles. If you want a queen for more room you have to go with the other mods or a deluxe.

Re: Disney resorts beds
The Poly beds in Tokelau were the worst cheapest oldest most awful beds I have ever slept on.

Re: Disney resorts beds
I have stayed at all of the values with the exception of AoA, and I have found them all to be uncomfortable. Hard as a rock! Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs and the Yacht Club were all comfortable.

True story. I didn't sleep for a week.

Ok so you can agree? They were so strange, seemed more like foam than a real spring mattress. Absolutely awful, many nights I had to get up earlier than I needed to b/c it was so uncomfortable. I was so annoyed that I had such an uncomfortable bed in such an expensive hotel.

I understand what you were asking but I think it is subjective and hard to ask. Rooms, and personal tastes can make a difference. What one person loves others hate. I heard beds were hard at many of the resorts but we didn't experience that.
If it is hard most will have egg foam pads they can put on. I haven't had an issue in any of the hotels I mentioned above.
I will say people do complain about the pull out couches being uncomfortable in the DVC villas.

Re: Disney resorts beds
Have yet to sleep in a nice bed in Orlando. I always think this bed/bathroom stink for the $$$ we are paying. You are paying more for location.

I found them to be extremely hard. DH didn't have a problem but I couldn't sleep at all. Whenever someone I know is staying there I warn them about the beds. I love the resort but the beds s*%k!!!

Re: Disney resorts beds
We stayed at the Contemporary and I found the bed to be SO comfortable. I wake up with a stiff neck 90% of the time when I sleep in a hotel bed but not at all on those comfy beds/pillows. Even DH, who has a bad back was totally pleased with the beds.

Re: Disney resorts beds
I've stayed in the Yacht & Beach clubs the last 2 years .......Beds are comfortable. But then again, you're so exhausted at the end of the day you'd probably sleep on a slab of marble !!
