New kitten - food recommendation?
Hi all. We are bringing home a new kitten on Saturday. It's time. Clover ate fancy feast for all of her many years but I'm guessing there are better options out there now...? Suggestions? Thanks!

Re: New kitten - food recommendation?
Oooh congratulations!!!! Post pics!!!
We've switched our kitties off of Friskies and on to Evolve and Triumph. They seem to like them and they actually eat less because the quality is so much better, so the cost per month is about the same.
I know one of those brands (and maybe both) definitely have kitten food because when I go to buy it, I see the teenytinyomgsocuuuuute little kitten cans on the shelf.
So happy for you guys!

Re: New kitten - food recommendation?
Congrats ! Post pics of the little one.
My big girl eats Halo, mostly dry with a little bit of wet once in a while. She was re-homed with me, and I switched her off of Friskies. Her coat and skin are much better.

I get them at Animal Pantry in Howard Beach...I don't know if Petco or PetsMart carry those brands. Hmm. Maybe check with a smaller, family-owned store to see if they have those brands? They will usually give you samples and do special orders if you want something they don't regularly carry.
