Porch Prices
Hey everyone,
We're getting our cape dormered this Summer and we're considering adding a porch. Our estimate was $14,500 for the porch so I'd love to compare and see what others paid.
1) We want trex, not wood.
2) Porch would be approx. 168 sq. feet--standard cape

DH is a contractor and is doing ours right now.
We have a small cape-ish style home (I'm doing progression pics in my album) and he said if we had to pay someone, it would easily be at least $20 to $25k.

I have a porch but I am redoing it
cultured stone with a blue stone floor
I think the price is going to come in at $20K b/c of the cost of materials

You're not kidding.
DH had to pick up a couple of piece of WOOD and some nails yesterday and it came out to $256.00.
